Iaikenpo |
Ryogen Ryu™ Heiho Bugei wears this title of “Heiho Bugei” because the new transmission (Shinden Ryogen Ryu™) does not limitate itself to the older transmission (Koden Ryogen Ryu™) by the old, traditional kendo (Iaido-Iaijutsu / Kendo-Kenjutsu), soke Hayashi being, as Ono sensei repeatedly said, a great expert in jujutsu, naginata jutsu, yari jutsu, or even suijutsu!
Once you have learned the Ryogen Ryu™ principles of the old transmission, the new elements included in building this school must be continuously developing, and these fundamental elements have evolved in other different schools, as follows:
- At the foundation of Iaikenpo Ryogen Ryu™ is the originary form of specific sword (koden) Ryogen Ryu™, as well as the elements from Shinden Ryu, Ono-Ha Itto Ryu, Muso Jikiden, Ryu/Eishin Ryu, Nakamura Ryu, Takeda Ryu, Niten Ichi Ryu, Toyama Ryu and other Koryu Kenpo Ryu-Ha.
